Our Little Getaway

Day 1: outside of Payson...we loved the cooler weather, the thunder, the light rain, exploring & collecting geodes. But the messy sliding mud, pouring rain, lightening, rough roads, & deep running rivers...not so much!

Day 2: Munds Park...again, I enjoyed the cool weather, the wonderful smell of pine trees, the rain, aspen trees, beautiful flowers & the ride up to Mormon Mountain. The broken down quad that kept Jim in Flagstaff all day & me riding alone...not so much!

Day 3 (the first 1/2): outside of Flagstaff at some cinder pits (a suggestion made by the guy who fixed our quad). We soon realized it just wasn't our thing & it was way too warm!

Although, Jim did enjoy this part of it...

Day 3 (the second 1/2): Here we are exploring San Francisco Peaks. Cool weather once again, a few deer, an antelope & absolutely gorgeous scenery.

We really did have an enjoyable time just getting away in the outdoors...so much time to reflect on the past few weeks. We are so blessed!!
