WE BUILT A POOL!!

Jim found a Brahmini Blind Snake (they are so tiny) in our backyard while digging the trenches that were needed for the pool. The kids thought it was so cute!

Thanks to Joey for helping Jim dig the trenches. He said he really liked doing something that didn't use his brain for a change, although I'm sure it really wasn't what he wanted to be doing during his break!

We are also thankful for Johnny's & Larry's help with some of the electrical as well

And so it begins (June 4th)...Jim & I were both at work but Jamie took the kids over there to watch & sent us pictures

The pool was actually finished very quickly but the paver guys took forever, there was so much Jim had to do to finish it, but it's done!

Filling the pool took exactly 24 hours with 2 hoses

It's done! Even with all the things we are still learning on how to take care of the pool, the dust storms we have had & the dirt & sand constantly in the pool because of all the work that's been (& being) done...I DON'T HAVE ANY REGRETS!!

First Rain

We have been (& still are) working on cleaning up all the construction mess & re-landscaping. Next purchases will be some pool furniture & umbrellas! To be continued...
