JOEY'S GRADUATION, THE MOVE TO MICHIGAN & MORE
This "baby boy" of ours graduated from Medical School!!
We are the parents of this young man, so we have the rights to brag! We are so very proud of Joey & his accomplishments!! We went to a banquet where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society
At the awards breakfast Joey received the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award, Outstanding Achievement Award & Humanism in Medicine Award. I am amazed with all the hard work it took to achieve this!!
Graduation Night (yes, a few tears were shed)

Now for the competitions
Moving Joey's family to Michigan...Jim, Joey, Grandpa & Grandma Nelson drove for two long days before they picked me up in Kansas City Missouri...during this time they were able to go to the Oklahoma City Memorial. From Missouri we went to Independence, Far West, Adam-Ondi-Oman, Liberty, Nauvoo & Carthage Jail. We were able to get in a lot of the church history sites with the little amount of time we had, it was such a great trip! Along the way, we had quite a bit of rain, did some hydro-planning, stayed indoors for some extra time until a tornado warning sub-sided but best of all Jim & I loved having our one-on-one time with Joey (Jim rode with him two of the days & I rode with him three of the days)! We were able to get to Michigan, unload everything & get some things done before Raegan & Claire came.
