After almost 22 years in our home it was in desperate need of many projects outside...we painted the entire house, put on a new roof, refinished the gate, put up new lights, shutters, window frames, screens, and doors. Jacob was here for 3 1/2 weeks to earn some money working for a friend of his doing faux painting. We put him to work as well...making the new screens, replaced all the lighting fixtures, helped patch outside walls, mowed the lawn, and faux painted our computer room. It was great to have him home again!! We wished he could have been here longer and Joey could have come home more often this summer... we love it when everyone is home!!

Joey flew in at 1:30 Friday morning and Jacob went to the airport to pick him up. I went to sleep but Jim waited up for them to come home...he waited and waited and waited. He called the airport to make sure the flight came in safely and then drove to the airport, but no such luck finding them. Just as he was getting ready to call the hospitals...the boys called him back at 5:00 A.M. They didn't have their phones on them because they decided to go diving in a pond for frisbee golf discs. Joey plays frisbee golf almost every day in between his 2 jobs and school and Jacob goes about once a week...they say for stress release. They have done this before at Christmas time and were pretty excited they found 20. This time they retrieved 80! What can they possibly do with 80 of them???
It has been fun to have Jacob and Joey home with us again! Jacob is home for 3 weeks to earn a little money and to get his applications out for dental school. Joey came home for 3 days to go to Raegan's sister's wedding and will be back in 2 more weeks for a few days for Raegan's little sister's baptism. We are sure glad the Davis family is having all these great events happening in their lives so we can get Joey home! :) These are some random pictures we took last night before Joey had to leave.

It seems like we have been celebrating our anniversary for over a month now. I am really working on remembering the "good times" we had in Costa Rica and I have almost forgotten the bad times...I might add, almost! We had a fun day yesterday...Jim came and picked me up from work and took me out to lunch and bought me some beautiful red roses. It has been an interesting and eventful 3o years with him I must say, never a dull moment! I hope we have at least another 30 more!! I love you!! And then last night we were able to go see Becki perform in Scottsdale at the Estate House jazz club. She looked absolutely beautiful and her performance was flawless...she has an incredibly amazing voice!! I am so glad we were able to share our special night with Aaron and Becki.
