~REMINICING~

We came home from camping to find a leak in our kitchen ceiling coming from our air conditioning condensation drain (in our master bedroom's attic access). This caused us to pull out 24 years of "treasures" from the attic...to make room for the repair. I say "we" but it was Jim & Jamie who worked endlessly to organize everything while I was at work, playing with Carly, or cleaning up the aftermath. So until each of the kids come home to go through their own belongings, my upstairs looks like I should be on that show, I am so fascinated by, called "Hoarders: Buried Alive". Going through all this stuff (I mean treasures) brought back so many memories, mostly happy & sometimes a little sad! Carly was finding so many things to play dress-up with, one being a dance outfit Jamie wore for a dance recital. Carly was pretty tickled when she saw a picture of Jamie in the outfit.

As usual, I couldn't resist, I had to take pictures of CARLY dancing in the outfit!

Thank you so much JAMIE for all your much needed help...you are still as adorable as you were back then!!

SOME OF THIS & SOME OF THAT...LIFE CONTINUES TO MOVE RIGHT ALONG!

WE ARE SO PROUD OF ALL OUR KIDS AND THEIR SPOUSES, THEY ARE ALL SUCH HARD WORKERS. I AM ALWAYS AMAZED AT WHAT THEY ACCOMPLISH & THE DRIVE THEY ALL HAVE!! This is just a little bit of what they are doing~

Aaron got a huge promotion at Community Bridges, he was asked to be the manager of the out-patient medically assisted program. He has been a great asset to this company & his hard work has really paid off. This will be such a huge help to his little family. He has also started back to school...taking a couple of classes each semester through MCC.

Jacob started his 2nd year of Podiatry School at Midwestern in June. He is loving school! He is the student-president of ACFAS (American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons) & is the Elders Quorum President in his singles ward. It's fun to have him close enough where he can come home for the weekends, when he has the chance to get away.

Jamie teaches several cheer/tumbling students during the school yr at her great set up at home. The last 2 summers she has also gone up to Snowflake & Show Low to teach classes & work with the Show Low & Snowflake high school cheer squads. Starting in September she will be going up there on Saturdays to teach classes as well. She is a Mia-Maid advisor & loves it!

Joey & Raegan are busy with school, jobs, and church callings. Jim is jealous because Joey works with the 11 yr old scouts...Jim's favorite calling he had for 11 years. They have 8 more months before they both graduate from BYU. Joey did very well on the MCAT & has his first interviews for medical school in October...we are all anxious to see where their home will be for the next 4 yrs.

This is how we spent our 32nd Anniversary...@ Traffic School!! Yay, for night school, at least we didn't have to go on a Satuday & ruin our weekend~

This is how we spent the rest of our anniversary...changing our kitchen.
Jim did such an awesome job on the crown moulding. After twenty-something years of cows in our kitchen, they were finally put out to pasture. I love it!!

Anyone who knows Jim knows he has SEVERAL HOBBIES...growing fruit trees & vines is just ONE of them! These are some of the grapes he grew this summer. Brody has the same love for fruit as his Papa~

While Joey & Raegan were here for a wedding & Jacob was on a two week break from school, Jacob & Joey were at it again..Diving for Discs in the middle of the night (this time they got 100)! It takes them hours to clean those things! Somehow they find joy in all this??!!~

Jim & Joey enjoyed a Cardinals game together~

This is another one of Jim's "projects" he made...welding & all. If he can't find something he needs (or wants) he'll just figure out a way to make it. This rack works great! We are now able to put one quad in the back of his truck & one in the enclosed trailer. This gives us enough room in the trailer to leave all our camping "stuff" in & we use it to sleep in (no tent necessary anymore). When we want to get away for a couple of days we pack clothes & food and we are on our way!! Not to say that everything is always perfect...each time we go there is some type of problem with with one of the quads or the trailer, but in the end we ALWAYS have SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER!!
