Singing with "Held Over"...such fun memories, especially when you would sing "Wild Thing" for your Mama when she begged! :)

Our trip to Missouri in 2001 for your boot camp/basic training graduation...how happy you were to see Becki after 14 weeks. We are so glad, that after many years of not being in each others lives, that you met up again and made Becki a part of our family in 2006!
A blessed day...the birth of James Aaron Nelson III ("Tre").
Four generations of the Nelson boys's.

Aaron,
The day you were born, 29 years ago, was the day my world changed forever…I became a “Mommy”!! That is something that I dreamt about my entire life. I was so overwhelmingly happy. There are so many things I love about you, to name just a few… I knew you were extremely bright and gifted when you had huge book of nursery rhymes memorized by the time you were 18 months old. I will never forget that cute little squeaky sing-song voice you had. You still have a love for learning, and singing for that matter. You are like your Dad when it comes to a project, a subject, or a question you need an answer to…you will research it & study it until you do have it figured out. You are very passionate about what you believe in & are always up for a debate (ok, so maybe I don’t always just love that part of it), whether it’s religion or politics or some cause you feel very strongly about. You don’t have any fear when it comes to trying something new. It’s obvious with your two jobs…going into swarms of bees as a bee specialist or tackling those crazy patients you have at Community Bridges! You are compassionate to those around you…whether it’s a young child or an elderly person, you have such a kind heart. I am so thankful you brought Becki back into your life and together you gave us a sweet & beautiful grandson. You are such a devoted Daddy to Tre. He knows it and feels it, you can tell by the way he lights up when he sees you! I hope you have a great birthday, I look forward to spending part of it with you, Becki, and Tre!!
I love you lots, Mom
