More Fun in the Sun & A Little Bit of 4th of July

Red-Neck swimming pool & bubbles = good times! Carly & Brody were very trusting of Papa & Daddy! Puppet Shows, Old Maid & Don't Eat Pete Papa's grapes & tangelos For the last few years Jim & I have been gone for the 4th of July, this is the week my work closes for vacation each year. We try to get away someplace that has a cooler climate. A few things kept us in town this year...we did not want to take a chance & miss Jamie's delivery if she went into labor early, I had several dr's appt's as well, worked on the "to do's" for Jacob & Cheslea's wedding & then there were the many house projects we took on (the before & afters to be posted soon). Mark & Sharon were out of town & said we could use their pool...we took a couple of little breaks from our house projects to swim a couple of times, it was so nice!! When I was growing up I spent every day of every summer in our pool, I really miss it! Having a pool would make the summer heat much more tolerable!! Because of all the busy-ness we had a no-fuss last minute 4th of July celebration. Jim & I went to Mark & Sharons with Johnny, Jamie & the kids for a quick swim & then got up on our roof (a perfect view) to watch the fireworks from Central Christian Church. After waiting an hour, with a few fireworks going off here & there from other places, Jim found out that it was done this year at Central Christian's Gilbert campus! Although the wait was nice with the beautiful weather, Jamie & I were both freak-a-zoids if the kids moved much at all on the roof...we were so afraid the kids would role off the roof!! We finally climbed down & did a few sparklers.
Jamie at 34 weeks and doing great, only two more weeks of shots!
It was a crazy-cool moon on the 4th of July
